10 glasses of water at once will make for some interesting sloshing sounds.

Er, ten cups of water between five friends would be two cups per friend? confused

Missed the ‘spreading it out between friends’ bit. Probably for the best, as otherwise we could make some amusing ‘Perfect Water leads to bladder rupture’ findings..

I have tried the water as well.  It tastes fine but I found no difference in being hydrated by any other clean water source.  I am a specialist in performance nutrition and also pretty fair at chemistry.  People will feel an obvious difference in the way the feel (more energy, stronger, etc.) if they stay hydrated.  Your bodies processes depend on water.  Most people don’t drink enough straight water.  It is a good practice at any rate.  The key is to drink water that is clean and to make sure you are getting your required vitamins for optimal health.  The only way to “ionize” water is to add some other substance like salt.  This allows the water molecules to pull apart or disassociate the salt molecules.  This doesn’t really help release more oxygen from the water.  If the water molecules were somehow broken apart and there was more available oxygen in the bottle, it would be released as gas.  Hydrogen is the same way.  Diatiomic molcules like elemental hydrogen and oxygen exist as gases not as a liquid unless their temperature is reduced to sub-zero temps. and there isn’t anyone that will benefit from drinking that stuff!  I say, what is wrong with a good water source, good food, and suplements if needed.  It’s the best way to achieve overall health.  We as americans think in term of the weakling that gets sand kicked in his face.  We put too much faith in a pill or drink to get healthy and fit.  If you really want to improve your health then get off you a$% and do something.  Try eating veggies, fruits, unprocessed whole foods, and take responsability for your health.  Don’t expect to suddenly get strengthened and energized by some over priced miracle bottled water that runs clean in many of our moutain streams.  Do what you will but at least consider what I have presented.  Good luck and live every day!

That sounds like good advice, Neptune.  Personal responsibility seems to be low on our society(s) list of requirements right now.  take for instance the lawsuits against fast food providers. (Or the removal of certain types of cooking oils..) *sigh*

“Perfect Water” is just water!  If you want to spend that much and deal with the high pressure sales techniques, so be it.  (Personally, I’ll take some of that mountain str4eam water you mentioned....screened for giardia and crypto, of course!) cheese

Seriously thought. I believe that anyone who wants to try out the ‘tests’ for perfect water, should do a double blind study.  It goes like this.  Prepare two (or more) glasses of water.  Get two (or More) volunteers.  in the glasses, put both ‘perfect water’ and any other bottled water.  Have the person(s) try the tests with perfect water first, then the other water. or vice versa.  Then have them try the other water.

I believe that you will find that ANY water tested in this way will seem like perfect empowered water!  (That’s because the flex tests and twist tests are bar tricks.  Kinda like someone ‘spotting you’ at weight lifting putting negligible pressure against the bar, you think it will work and it does!)

So BE CAREFUL!!! You already drink Perfect Water!!  Don’t pay through the nose for a trick!

(...sits back and rests from his long indoctrination sojourn...)

New member, first post as you can see.  I couldnt get through the original thread on this with out getting so discusted.  Ive never seen such a group of people bash on something they dont know.  It goes back to the entire logic of dont judge a book by its cover.  Have you tried perfect water?  NO, ok then shut up, try it and then talk about it.  I have dont exactly what DavePrime here says.  And yes it still works.  The bottle with fake Perfect Water never works, the bottle with real Perfect Water works every time.  Your body reacts different, and if you drink Perfect Water for a long period of time you see results in your muscles and joints.  Its real, it works and I have a bottle setting on my desk right in front of me.  And anyone that pays over $200 to be an IBO with Quixtar is a fool, you shouldnt spend more thatn $150.  Are you going to stand at the door of Costco and tell those people they are idiots for paying a yearly membership to get good products at a discounted rate.  No, of course you wont because you hear from everyone how great it is and go buy your membership.  Thats exactly what Quixtar is!  Pay a yearly membership, or no membership without some of the discounts, and get good products at a discounted price.  With the way gas prices are today and idiots with shopping carts I will gladly order something online and have it dropped off at my door for free the next day!

With that said pull your head out of your A** and try stuff before you bash on it!!!!!!!

I think you just like to hear yourself talk.  Didnt you want to close the last thread you started because people started making logical points that you just didnt want to believe?  So far everyone on here and everyone that I know who has tried it believes in it.  That could also be why huge NFL teams are signing up with it… BECAUSE IT WORKS!

P.S. Perfect water works!  I would send you some but im afraid your so stubborn that you still wont give your honest opinion even if it does work!

In the gym it takes me about 5 refills to get through a harsh workout.  One 16.9 ounce bottle of perfect water gets me through an entire workout.

once again, dont bash it unless youve tried it!

. . .try stuff before you bash on it!!!!!!!

Shooting yourself in the head with a shotgun is great fun, improves your health, increases your muscle mass by 200%, improves your romance life, and recharges all your chakras.  And unless you try it yourself, you can’t say that it might not be all I claim.  Right?

jsbg - 30 May 2008 07:51 AM

So far everyone on here and everyone that I know who has tried it believes in it.

Not true.  You even quote somebody who says that he tried it and that it wasn’t anything special in your very next comment here.  You’re contradictiing yourself and posting information that you know to be false. . .for some reason, that does not boost my levels of trust in you.

Sorry, jsbg, but I think the only true thing you’ve said is:

jsbg - 30 May 2008 07:47 AM

I couldnt get through the original thread

Because if you had you might have read posts about the placebo effect, and how double-blind tests, when conducted properly and honestly, would constitute a modicum of evidence for Perfect Water. Your posts boil down to two unoriginal assertions:

1) “If you haven’t tried it, you can’t criticize it!”

Yes I can. I can point out that the claims are unsupported by empirical evidence, or are contrary to current physical and chemical theories, or I can point out logical inconsistencies. Usually, the burden of proof lies with the person making the claims, and in this case lots of claims are made for Perfect Water, but no proof has ever been forthcoming.

2) “I’ve tried it and it works for me!”

Good for you. Unfortunately that is a personal testimony, not proof. Lots of people also claim to have seen alien spacecraft, Bigfoot, Elvis, Shergar, Elvis riding Shergar, Bigfoot riding Shergar and Elvis riding Bigfoot as well, but - not surprisingly - they never seem to have the physical evidence to back up their claims either.

It’s also worth noting that personal testimonies to the effect that Perfect Water doesn’t work don’t constitute hard evidence either.

It is quite possible that Perfect Water could have a beneficial effect only for a ‘reverse placebo’ effect to mask it. I mentioned the reverse placebo effect before (here).

(Though I never did find that paper.)
