Wow.. We’re really straying from Perfect Water…  So, what do you make?  Why are you trying to discredit what?  I’ve met quite enough people with 7 figure incomes to know that it works, and I know that they are willing to help me at ANY time to do the same.  Call your CEO and see if he’ll give you a personal call to let you know how you can have HIS income and get where HE’s at…  Oops, I’m using too many capitals… Told you, it upsets me a little (very little)...  OBTW, All the sucessfull people I’ve met in the business promote education, and ALL their kids have gone, at the very least, through college and have quite nice resume’s.  Then, some in the third generation in the Amway business by now, became IBO’s themselves.  The only negative I recall about education is a story about the finance instructor that was showing students how to make millions in investing, but was driving a 15 year old Volvo that didn’t start most of the time.  Teaching is a VERY honorable profession, but not typically a high paying one, and my PERSONAL veiw (not that of Quixtar/Amway/Alticor) is, again, to seek knowledge from those who have the “fruit on the tree”, not from those who have failed.  Sucessfull people have just failed more than average people but refused to quit or give up.  Want to go into the “millionaires” that were college (or highschool for that matter) dropouts?  Again… DO what makes YOU happy.  What’s your plan?  Enjoy it, and I’m sure it’ll get you exactly where you would like to be.      LYMI, TexasIBO

You would probably be surprised at some of the incomes, titles and positions of the people around here, but I doubt you’ll be successful at getting anyone to reveal their income.

As for the thread veering off topic (tho that is arguable), it was you who came on here speaking about what a great business opportunity Amway/Quixtar is.

MadCarlotta…  What’s you plan?  I’m always open to new opportunities!  Show me how I can make a substantial 6 figure income in 3 years with no formal education requirements.  obtw, it needs to have the ability to expand to a 7 figure income in 5 or so years, I may need more for my grandkids (since what I make now IS willable and the paycheck keeps coming in, even after my death).  I didn’t say everyone that ever got into “the business” was legal, moral, ethical, or non fattening.  Yes, some have “done wrong”, as men are prone to do.  The business still stands and has taken (as it always has) proper action to correct those who have been “bad”.  Unlike other scandals of recent, those “bad ones” hurt no one but themselves and (maybe) the “reputation” of honest people still involved.  This is totally voluntary and anyone can join or leave as they wish.  That’s the neatest thing to me… I can share an idea, and if people want to listen they may.  If not, they can say “no thank you”.  Very similar to here, hopefully with less venomous replies.  Again… what’s your plan?  Enjoy it, and I HOPE you’re exactly where you would like to be!  If you are, and would like to share, I’m all ears…  Show me a better way!  Thanks for your time!  I really appreciate it.!.!

Thanks again for the informative banter everyone!  Sun’s out and birds are circling, that means stripped bass pushing shad to the top.  Gotta go fishing.  I’ll check back Friday to see what’s new.  Perfect Water is, in fact, water.  If someone’s presenting it as something else, It didn’t come from the corporation or manufacturer or I’d surely have heard of it.  It’s water.  If I’m thirsty and near a vending machine, I’d pay $2 for it there too.  I TRUST where it comes from, based on lots of research and past history with the OCS.  Don’t believe everything told to you, but hope they at least have YOUR best ineterests in mind.  There are positive things happening every day.  Get ya sum!  Get off the negativity and get a life…  LYMI,

I can pretty much do whatever I want.
I’m a Librarian! And I drink Kentwood Springs water!
Oh, my sister in law’s sister got in to Amway and it was scary!!!
Luckily, they didn’t do it for very long.

I think your signature says it all…  No one wants the “truth”, y’all just want to criticize.  Got a better plan?  I’d love to hear it.

The “better” plan is whatever works for you and yours.  If you’re fine being an IBO (which it seems you are) so be it.  Just as you’re allowed to go on about how well Amway/Quixtar works for you personally and all the people ou know in the program everyone else is allowed to go on about how it doesn’t work for them and in the circumstances they’ve had close friends go through.

Either way, knock it off (everyone, no just you, TexasIBO) and keep this thread on topic, which is about personal, first-hand experience with Perfect Water.  This is neither the place nor thread to go on about how great or how terrible Amway/Quixtar is.

I don’t know how [Perfect Water] works, don’t really care, it’s just what it’s claimed to be (on drinkperfectwater.com), just water!

Except that when that thread that you referred to about Perfect Water was made there was no claim of Perfect Water being “just water”.  If you did read the thread you would see the claims that were made and see how people broke them down as what they really mean.  (Which was pretty much that they mean nothing and are just marketing propoganda.)  Honestly, I don’t care enough to go back to the Perfect Water site again.  Maybe they changed it.  Maybe they haven’t.  Regardless, the content when that thread was made that you seemed to get some much entertainment out of was not just a claim that it was “just water”.

And a question for you, TexasIBO.  How large (in fluid ounces) is a bottle of Perfect Water?  And how much does it cost?  You’re an IBO and have ordered the water already, so this should be easy to get an answer for.

I want to know because if Perfect Water is “just water,“ as you say and you say the website claims I want to compare prices.  I can buy a bottled water at work (16.9 fluid ounces) for $1.00 (approximately $.06 per fluid ounce).  If Perfect Water costs more than that why would I want to buy Perfect Water instead?  I am getting “just water” from this bottled water, so what would make a price difference worth to buy “just water” Perfect Water?

Since you have had first-hand experience with Perfect Water the answers to these questions will be right on topic with this thread, I think.  So please answer and inform me about this product.

I’m not trying to convince anyone of anything.  Just rebutting what was directed to me…
Pricing is readily avilable at Quixtar.com, just search for “perfect water”, it comes right up.  Retail is about $.11 / oz. and if you believe there’s no advantage to drinking it, I’m sure you shouldn’t buy it.  I addressed consumer vs business owner thinking earlier and won’t go into that.  As for the librarian who has everything she wants, I personally believe that there is no opportunity in the world that can provide any value to someone who has everything they could ask for.  If that’s the case, you are truly blessed and to be admired.!.!  Didn’t come here to offend anyone and I deeply appologize if I did.  I just presented facts as I know them (and I’ll be the first to admit I don’t know everything).  A large % of what an IBO spends on perfect water goes back to IBO’s.  That’s the value to me.  And I like the taste and like the way it makes me feel.  When I drank it (before I ever heard of any flexibility or balance tests, or knew the cost, or ANYTHING else about it), I noticed a marked imporvement in the stifness in my back (from sitting in a conference room chair for several hours).  I’ve been in therapy for a broken back (3 fractured vertibrae) since a car wreck last fall, have had cronic back issues since birth due to mild Spina Bifida and have hundreds of thousands of dollars of “work” done on my back over the years.  I’m no expert on Perfect Water, I just know that in my own blind uninformed “taste test”, when asked 30 min’s after I drank it how I felt, I felt MUCH better than after all the bottles of water I’d drank during the day.  Some will say what they may, I just know I’ll try it again, and if I like it, I’ll continue to purchace it.  If you don’t consider it worth while, I see no reason you should try it.  Your preconcieved notions would probably skew any possible benefit anyway, and regardless, I’ll keep doing what I know works.
I don’t have to understand why the sun comes up or the moon’s gravitational force keeps this country from being submerged in sea water twice a day to have faith that when I wake up in the morning there will be a sunrise and a tidal pool.  I just know what I know, and I try to learn and grow every day.  I wish you the same serenity that faith has delivered to me.  Have a wonderful day!  Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you’re up to….      LYMI, TXIBO

Fair enough on everything you said.

I asked because you are the one who said (in your first post, I believe - but it was the one I quoted above) that Prefect Water was “just water”.  So I was curious as to what the price difference is compared to other “just water” that can be bought and why a consumer would want to pay that difference for “just water”.

You didn’t really answer that question, but what you said tells me enough that I’m not worried about it.  Good luck to you and your endeavors.

Um, I didn’t say I have everything I want, I said I can do WHAT I want whenever I want.
And, yes, I am truly blessed and happy.

What exactly does Perfect Water taste like?
I don’t like Dasani Water that has all the minerals added to it.
If you add something to water, wouldn’t it taste different?
Does it come in flavors?

It tastes like water.  Fresh, clean water.  *MOD NOTE: REMOVED LINKS* has info.
Addatives for water are a different product.  I don’t want to get scolded again for marketing.

NOTE: We already know the perfect water website and do not need to be spammed for Amway lipgloss or whatever that was
