If you are going to name a thread after a food, you are required according to the MoH code of Ethics bylaws, Section 112, subsection 8, paragraph 6, line 945, as handed down after the Edinburgh Council of 8, ...”to make said food in amounts that shall feed all present members and lurkers.”
In my little 6x6 cube or the outside world? As far as the outside is concerned I have no idea, I can’t see it. Here in my cube things are loverly as they can be, which by most peoples standards is on the level of poking your eyes out with a pencil and banging your head on the floor until you pass out.
Sounds like, um, fun, Neo! Not much going on here either--I’m just killing a little time until we decide to start our girl’s school, and then I have to go to work in like 3 hours
You know, some people thought so, especially since it seemed like just about everything possible went wrong, but hey, it’s lasted 13 years when other folks we know who got married about the same time are getting divorced.
Hi Mal, I was going to ask why you weren’t in school, and then I remembered that it’s almost 6 pm where you are...ah well. How goes it today?
Morning, Chary!
Almost 9 years for me, our new child will be our gift this year, a couple days early though.
A lot of people today I don’t think understand what marriage is truly about, hence the number of divorces.
Enjoy your lunch Chary!
And Neo, I think you’re right. When you say “for better or worse,” that doesn’t mean “run out at the first sign of trouble,” or “bail when you see someone you think is sexier/more successful/whatever.” You made a *promise* darn it, and you should stick to it. There are certain exceptions, of course.
Oh, and I checked out your baby registry...definite froggy theme!
Well, I’ve got to run away for now. Gotta get lunch ready for my kidlet, gotta run to the store, and then gotta get ready for work. Bleah. Talk to y’all later!
What’s wrong with getting married in April? We got married in mid-July when it was, no kidding, 98 degrees F and 96 percent humidity. I can still hear my dad (a Californian born and bred and NOT an admirer of Midwestern weather) saying, “The church has air conditioning, right? It DOESN’T? Why would you get married in a church without air conditioning?”
She said one week, being April 1st, I was attempting to make a pun of sorts. Yes it flopped.
June 12 for me, there was a light rain falling early in the day. It was actually a pleasant weather day.
