Well, here’s the version of the prediction in question that I could find:

“The year of the great Seventh number accomplished: it will appear at the time of the games of slaughter. Not far from the age of the great Millennium when the dead will come out of their graves.“ —Century 10, Quatrain 74

I don’t know what the original French version of it went like.

Anyway, it seems that the dead were supposed to come out of their graves with the great Millennium, rather than the year of the great Seventh number.  Or something like that.  Grammar and syntax don’t seem to be strong points of either Nostradamus or the translator in that quatrain.

Acci,  supposedly the French version is:

Au revolu du grand nombre septiesme
Apparoistra au temps Jeux d’Hecatombe,
Non esloigné du grand eage milliesme
Que les entres sortiront de leur tombe.

Picked up from here.

Whether you’re 12 or 112, the point remains the same. A thread is not closed because the person making the opening post gets bored with it, or considers the question answered.

I assumed you didn’t know this, hence your “i thought i closed this?“.
I was letting you know.

Picked up from here.

I’m not so hot on my very old French but ‘revolu’ doesn’t actually mean ‘year’ so much as ‘cycle’ or ‘completed period of time’ (also means orbit I think). A completed year is ‘une annee revolue’ but ‘revolu’ on its own is subject to various translations. ‘Year’ is one way of doing it but it could mean lots of things. Could mean in 700 years time or something (makes sense- ‘in a cycle of a large number related to seven’. Never seen ‘septiesme’ before).

And where the hell does ‘dead ones’ come from? ‘Entres’ is derived from ‘entrer’ the verb ‘to enter’. ‘Sortiront’ can mean ‘leave/ quit’ but can also mean ‘end up’ (I’m speaking from the modern French perspective, not sure now it worked in Nostradmus’ time).

A brief glance at the translation Smerk linked to makes me think it’s very badly translated.
