As all of us go to museum of hoaxes,we probably know nostradamus. pretty much most of us know his predictions but do u know this? on the year 2007 the dead will rise. ok now i will make this reply short and sweet. does anyone know wich explanation is the best? i have interviewed my freinds and we mad a few answers.
A) osama bin laden the terrorist leader. has made a video letting everyone know he is alive even though it was said on what my freind on he thinks 205 - 207 its still close and we may think since he was thought to be dead he is actually still alive.
B)freinds (the tv show wich according to some is a racist show) is making a come back
c)a group of people presumed dead will come back
if u have more info tell me its okay if u criticize this!please point out my mistakes if u know any!
Ummmm. . .could you at least provide us with a bit more information on this prediction? Where in his writings Nostradamus wrote it, perhaps? If we could read the actual prediction it might make things a tad clearer.
Meh. You may have to do a bit better than that for around here. Nostradamus predictions pretty much land squarely in the ‘Conspiracy Theory’ section with a side helping of rolled eyes.
Frankly, the guy’s predictions were so vague, you can interpret them to mean anything you want. I shudder to think what interpretations future generation will make based upon what we have today…
“Gilligan dropping the coconuts in this episode is a clear sign! Our Mega-Collective must oppose the ‘Skipper’, in this case the Tofu Conglomerates!”
“The tattoos on the back of Dennis Rodman clearly predicted the Sausage Wars!”
“‘Two Girls, One Cup’ contains hidden messages detailing the Illuminati’s plans for galactic conquest. They only made it that way so that nobody would pay close attention to it.”
Speaking of which, can we get this shifted over to Conspiracies?
Well, here’s the version of the prediction in question that I could find:
“The year of the great Seventh number accomplished: it will appear at the time of the games of slaughter. Not far from the age of the great Millennium when the dead will come out of their graves.” —Century 10, Quatrain 74
I don’t know what the original French version of it went like.
Anyway, it seems that the dead were supposed to come out of their graves with the great Millennium, rather than the year of the great Seventh number. Or something like that. Grammar and syntax don’t seem to be strong points of either Nostradamus or the translator in that quatrain.
“‘Two Girls, One Cup’ contains hidden messages detailing the Illuminati’s plans for galactic conquest. They only made it that way so that nobody would pay close attention to it.”
OMG, I can’t believe you mentioned 2 girls one cup. Where is the mind bleach?

And come back to haunt us months or years later. . .
again im only 12 *warning please dont read the parenthesis too boring to read full of random questions* (in moglin yrs. i think? why did i say that? whos Illuminati? whos Accipiter? or a smerk ? is that a dragon? where did i hear that before? this is supposed to be in my mind!why am i typing these? why do i keep on asking these things oh and whats a moderator my head hurts....)oh yeah now i remember!they always stay open! whoa 0_o
Whether you’re 12 or 112, the point remains the same. A thread is not closed because the person making the opening post gets bored with it, or considers the question answered.
I assumed you didn’t know this, hence your “i thought i closed this?”.
I was letting you know.
I’m not so hot on my very old French but ‘revolu’ doesn’t actually mean ‘year’ so much as ‘cycle’ or ‘completed period of time’ (also means orbit I think). A completed year is ‘une annee revolue’ but ‘revolu’ on its own is subject to various translations. ‘Year’ is one way of doing it but it could mean lots of things. Could mean in 700 years time or something (makes sense- ‘in a cycle of a large number related to seven’. Never seen ‘septiesme’ before).
And where the hell does ‘dead ones’ come from? ‘Entres’ is derived from ‘entrer’ the verb ‘to enter’. ‘Sortiront’ can mean ‘leave/ quit’ but can also mean ‘end up’ (I’m speaking from the modern French perspective, not sure now it worked in Nostradmus’ time).
A brief glance at the translation Smerk linked to makes me think it’s very badly translated.
