“and sheperds we shall be, for thee my lord for thee...”

its such a great movie!

although rumors of a sequel have been going around for a while...its great that theyre finally coming through on it, although i fear a sequel might be hit-or-miss-- either really good or really really bad.

Instead of King Midas,
there appeared Leonidas --

I have tried to watch this movie multiple times.  ...I can’t get through it.  I don’t know what it is.  There aren’t very movies I just stop watching completely.

The uncensored version is the best. It was actually released just after the Columbine killings and so they were forced to censor it so severely that it’s pretty much a new movie. The original version was released here in Australia and I managed to get a copy but on VHS. The DVD I bought a few years later was the censored US version (dammit!).

The full cat scene is just hilarious! LOL

It may be a tad too violent and gruesome for you though Maeg. You have to be rather blood thirsty (like me) to enjoy it methinks.

I dunno...I just don’t like the bloody horror movies...shoot ‘em ups aren’t the same “gross” as a horror film.  I just thought it took an awful long time to move along.  I rented it at first...but I had to return it before I could finish it.  Then it came on TV...so it was probably heavily edited anyway.  I dunno, maybe I’ll give it another go one of these days.

I like Snatch & Momento...I would consider those kind of bloody.  Is it along the same lines?  Oh...And History of Violence...pretty bloody, but I enjoyed it.

Boondocks isn’t exactly bloody as it is violent. This is a link to the infamous ‘cat’ scene (pretty sure this is the uncensored version) and this is about as bloody and gruesome as it gets. Note though that the language is definitely NSFW!
