Dammit, why can’t this happen at the bank where I work? I’d love to get the day off work…
A BANK was shut yesterday when a nest of snakes was discovered inside a branch.
Staff found the nest of at least two brown snakes at the St George Bank in Caringbah, NSW, yesterday morning.
The nest was in the kitchen area at the branch, at the back of the building and away from customers.
Bank spokeswoman Lara Daniels said the branch was closed as soon as the reptiles were spotted.
Ms Daniels said steps were underway to remove the snakes from the bank.
“Our property team are currently finding a snake handler to safely remove the snakes,” Ms Daniels said.
