Hmmm. . .it seems that I misunderstood Armite when he wrote:

Coincidence? Maybe, but take WINDOWS 95 and do the SAME procedure and you will get 666 too!!! And the same goes for MS-DOS 6.31!!! Are you sure this is not a coincidence? You decide….
MS-DOS 6.21 ** 77+83+45+68+79+83+32+54+46+50+49 = 666
WINDOWS 95 ** 87+73+78+68+79+87+83+57+53+1= 666
I took that to mean type out “BILL GATES III” in MS-DOS 6.21 and then in Windows 95. But upon reconsideration, what he seems to be saying is to type out “MS-DOS 6.21” and “Windows 95” in ASCII.
77 - M
83 - S
45 - -
68 - D
79 - O
83 - S
32 - [_]
54 - 6
46 - .
50 - 2 (not three, like he claims at one point above. . .oops!)
49 - 1
= 666 total
87 - W
73 - I
78 - N
68 - D
79 - O
87 - W
83 - S
57 - 9
53 - 5
1 - start of heading
= 666 total
Again, though, he’s being all inconsistent. In the first sequence, he’s using a space. In the second, he’s leaving a space out. So let’s try using some consistency. First, with the space in both sequences:
77 - M
83 - S
45 - -
68 - D
79 - O
83 - S
32 - [_]
54 - 6
46 - .
50 - 2
49 - 1
= 666 total
87 - W
73 - I
78 - N
68 - D
79 - O
87 - W
83 - S
32 - [_]
57 - 9
53 - 5
= 697 total
Next, both without the spaces:
77 - M
83 - S
45 - -
68 - D
79 - O
83 - S
54 - 6
46 - .
50 - 2
49 - 1
= 634 total
87 - W
73 - I
78 - N
68 - D
79 - O
87 - W
83 - S
57 - 9
53 - 5
= 665 total
That “+ 1” added onto the end of the sequence for the Windows 95 code by Armite (or whomever he cut and pasted from) is totally out of nowhere. In other words, somebody simply stuck an extra number in there so as to make the total what he wanted it to be. In effect, it’s a lie.
So, what have we established? That “MS-DOS 6.21” in ASCII code is indeed 666 (when using certain versions of the ASCII number code, that is; using something like hexadecimal gives a totally different result). And that all the other stuff he posted is nonsense. There is no realistic way to get the number 666 from Bill Gates’ name or from the name “Windows 95” using Armite’s techniques.
Right. “MS-DOS 6.21” in ASCII is, when all the numbers are added up, 666. Well. . .so what? That’s one revision of one version of MS-DOS, which from what I can tell came out 14 years ago and lasted a total of a few months before being replaced by MS-DOS 6.22. Wooooo.
