According to the website http://www.exradia.com/

AngelTM provides a unique, proven and patented Noise Field Technology (NFT) that neutralises the biological effects of man-made electromagnetic fields (EMF) without affecting the operation of the device.

.

Well personally I think this is a load of rubbish, What do you think?.

These EMFs form part of the natural electromagnetic background and are characterised by random both in time and space.

Huh??  characterised by random in both space and time?  I say again…  huh???  I’m pretty sure I get the gist of the sentence but whoever wrote that needs some lessons in english.

After reading the description of how it works I’m calling BS.  Superimposing a signal on another one is not exactly going to negate the effects of the carrier wave (if there are any real effects).  The structure of the carrier wave is going to remain constant and if it were tampered with then the received signal would not be decoded properly.  As in fm radio the audio is carried on the sidebands while the carrier remains untouched.  Screw with the carrier wave and your radio will just filter it out so you don’t get anything.  AM transmission does have the audio directly affecting the carrier in the form of it’s modulating the amplitude.  But the frequency remains the same and any other signal superimposed on it would affect the information being carried.

Unless this thing somehow knows exactly what frequency the cell phone is using just superimposing a signal over the carrier is unlikely to do anything more than add noise to the signal.  To have any real effect it would have to be stronger than the carrier wave by a fair bit (unlikely) or it would have to be mixed with the carrier (which is nigh on impossible with the signals coming from two different sources).  The internal filters in the cell phone would filter it out of any incoming signal and i seriously doubt anything that battery could put out would affect the outgoing signal.

Superimposing a signal on another one is not exactly going to negate the effects of the carrier wave (if there are any real effects).

Actually, there is some evidence that it might.  But only in certain circumstances.  As part of their “proof” of their claims, they list a bunch of experiments that were published in various journals.  A few of those papers do suggest that random electromagnetic interference might nullify some of the possible effects of non-random electromagnetic waves.

Of course, what the Angel Chip people fail to mention is that this worked only on very specific frequencies (30 to 50 Hz, not anything like what a mobile phone uses) and situations, only has a range of a few centimeters, and that the noise signal had to be at least 80% the strength of the other signal.

Somehow, seeing that after fifteen years of careful research they still can’t seem to distinguish any difference between 50 Hz and 150000000 Hz, I’m not reassured.  And their claim that it works because it’s “clever” further thrills me to no end.

Those are rather specific instances though.  Admittedly I haven’t seen any papers on that research you mention but 30+ years in the electronics, radio and radar field tells me that their claims are pretty bogus overall.  If the tests you mention are using frequencies that low then I can probably do the same thing with a loud yell as those frequencies are at the lower end of the audio range.  And to think that they package it all as a battery.  Amazing the things you can do with imagination these days.

Strangely, the battery in my mobile phone is currently neutralising all its harmful electromagnetic output too.

I must get round to charging it…
