Okaaay. . .I’m not really seeing any actual coherent point here.  Somebody is claiming that Britney Spears is some sort of an “Illuminati icon” and being tortured, and then links to lots of webpages where people ramble on about various other people being “Illuminati icons” and link to other pages.  That’s all I’m seeing.  Nothing about what an “Illuminati icon” is, why the Illuminati would be doing any of this, or even how the people on the webpages know that these celebrities have anything to do with the Illuminati.

There isn’t really anything to say on this topic, because there isn’t really a topic to discuss.  Nobody can say anything about Spears being an Illuminati icon or not until somebody can actually say what an Illuminati icon is.  And of course, there’s always the novel idea of providing the evidence upon which it was decided that she is an Illuminati icon. . .

There is one thing that can be pointed out, though.  On one of the links provided, somebody goes on about Stephen Hawking being an Illuminati tool who was given ALS for some odd reason.  Their proof:  they claim that nobody else has ever lived longer than five years with ALS, so it must be some sort of artificial experimental type.  However. . .

From the ALSA:

“The initial symptoms of ALS can be quite varied in different people. One person may experience tripping over carpet edges, another person may have trouble lifting and a third person’s early symptom may be slurred speech. The rate at which ALS progresses can be quite variable from one person to another. Although the mean survival time with ALS is three to five years, many people live five, ten or more years. In a small number of people, ALS is known to remit or halt its progression, though there is no scientific understanding as to how and why this happens.”

From Wikipedia:

“Most people with ALS die from respiratory failure, usually within 3 to 5 years from the onset of symptoms. However, about 10 percent of those individuals with ALS survive for 10 or more years.”

From The Merck Manual of Medical Information, 1997:

“About 50 percent of people with [ALS] die within three years of the first symptoms, 10 percent live ten years or more, and occasionally a person survives for as long as thirty years.”

So out of all the many thousands of cases of people with ALS, one in ten lives over a decade.  Which is longer than five years.  Another case in point is Jason Becker, who started showing symptoms in 1989 and is still alive.

Besides, Stephen Hawking was 21 when he was diagnosed.  He wasn’t a famous scientist then.  He hadn’t really done much of anything.  There wasn’t any reason for anybody to single him out then.

Why would we want to?  It would be so dull here without their ideas.

I thik that the main contention they are putting forwards is that people like that can’t become famous without the help of a global, international conspiracy. Let’s face it, it’s the only thing that explains Paris Hilton..
