If you speak of me, I meant it to be overt, but not hostile, just frustration.

This reputable study, from 1988, appears to have established that which I, and every other skeptic believes.

“...the use of applied kinesiology to evaluate nutrient status is no more useful than random guessing.“

As the use of applied kinesiology is the very foundation of NAET, now what?

I’ll find the more recent studies that show the opposite. Unfortunately, these were generally run by foundations or groups that you probably think are biased, even though the studies were done properly. But if it doesn’t work, I wonder why I get the results that I do. I guess we’re back at that again. We can argue over the individual steps of the procedure, but in the end, even if I concede that the steps don’t make sense, I still have people getting well at an astounding rate-with no negative side effects.

I look forward to reading the studies you will post.

“...I wonder why I get the results that I do…“

I would like to know that too. Perhaps we can eventually find out the answer together.

Happy new Year,

Given that you keep an open mind for new techniques, I thought you might be interested in this article.

It appears to be a much better technique than NAET.

NeuroModulation Technique (NMT)

Any thoughts?

How interesting that this technique can also be done via telephone.

“Because we are all connected through the Universal Energy Field, it is possible to detect an individual’s state-of-being across space…“

Mmmm?

Not quite so sure about it now.

I know one patient who had it done and said it helped. A person I trust went to the workshop and thought the method too cumbersome and not worth all the extra trouble it takes, so I never looked into it. I generally steer clear personally from things that are this far out, not that I don’t think they can work, but we all have our comfort zone and as a practitioner I have to be comfortable with what I do.

I do hope you can appreciate that when you say “I generally steer clear personally from things that are this far out,...“ how difficult it is to reconcile the words with your own use of NAET.

By any measure of “far out” isn’t a technique where bottles containing substances that somehow trigger a reaction in a body when held close to it a bit far out?

NAET also has a distance healing component.
http://distanttreating.homestead.com/FAQS.html

Isn’t this a little difficult to accept as real?

I really do appreciate that you continue to feel that NAET is real, because in the abscence of any other explanation what could be bringing about the changes you perceive?

The search for truth continues.
