Apparently the Christians really don’t like the books.

Could we instead say “some Christians” instead of “the Christians”? On the subject of literature, we do not speak as one. Or two. Or three.

You’re right. Sorry, if I have offended any Christians. That was a big generlization of me and consider it edited.

You got to watch them Christians, they get cranky.  So do the Jews and Muslims.  And the British and French.  Californians and women in general, too.

Wait, maybe it’s me?

Who cares?

I mean it’s about as relevant as if Shakespeare came back from the dead and said “Yeah, King Lear was a gay. A big gay. A big gay with shiny silver bells on. Hey nonny-nonny.”

Let’s see.. guys prancing about in tights, with brightly colored, fluffy shirts, occasional outbreaks of well-loved ‘manservants’....

Yeah, I think we should move the Bard over to the ‘Gay Studies’ section of the bookstore.

The gay paedophile section. He did write love-poems to young boys.

Not to mention the classic Gay Boys in Bondage.

No problem, Banana—I was pretty sure what you meant, and probably most other people were too. I’m just a natural-born nitpicker. But I’m thorough, by God.

Most of the time, people referring to ‘Christians’ in a derogatory manner don’t mean the average, everyday Common Spotted Christian, but rather the rabid, Bible-snorting, holier-than-thou, uber-Christian. The sort that feel they must eat, sleep and breathe their faith every waking moment, in order to prove how much better than the rest of you they are.

My dad refers to those sorts as ‘God-botherers’, as he’s certain they must be as annoying to God as they are to us mere mortals.

But we’re veering off-topic by a wide margin. Back to Dumbles coming out of the closet!

Considering the fact that Dumbledore is dead him coming out of the closet at this point is bound to be a bit icky.

But did she really have to mention it? All she had to do would be say “no” or “yes”. But apparently there is talk about an 8th book. There are a few sites devoted to the idea, and J.K. has released a statement saying “never say never"in regards to an eighth book. Personally, if there was to be an eighth book, I’d like to see all procedes donated to some charity. It’s not like she’s poor and struggling, and desperately needing it.

I have relatives like that. My great nan. But she publicly disowned me after I told her I didn’t believe in God. Her loss. But on the subject of Harry Potter, I wonder if some schools will ban it… I believe that is the plan at my primary school, to just get rid of all the books.
