Nah. Goths don’t like *real* pain. They only care for emotional pain and angst, or at least, convincing other people that they’re tormented. A good solid slap to the face has them quickly breaking character and bawling about how mean everyone is while their carefully-applied ‘tear-streaked’ makeup is ruined by actual tears.
As far as androgyny goes, we should see if Nameless has the Mattell logo stamped someplace intimate.
