No, they worried about that too, but they found it waaay before she got pregnant when she had apendicitis when she was younger. Apparently she just basically has the equivalent of two livers for the price of one… Everything is healthy, they just didn’t want to risk complications (I was 9.8 pounds and my brother was 9.4).

My 100 pound wife had a 11 pound baby.  Apparently all went just as it was supposed to, though, and went quickly as well. She was apparently well-designed for that sort of thing, which makes it all a whole lot more bearable.

All the same, I’m glad to be on this side of the baby-producing/non baby-producing divide.

We get the inability to squeeze babies out.

They get multiple orgasms. It’s up to you to decide what’s better tongue wink

I dunno, I like what I have. Better to give than to receive, after all.

Yep, perfectly satisfied here.

Whoa Acci, quite the little one you had there. My nephew came out at 8lbs and change (I didn’t count the change, they gave it to the doctor as a tip I think) from my brother’s less than 100 pound wife, and I thought that was pushing it…

I actually got your joke Neo, but didn’t think I had.. lol

And apparently that sort of size didn’t come from her side of the family (they actually tended to be smaller than usual), so it likely is a trait from my genetics.  So all you womenfolk here who are constantly begging to bear my children had better keep that in mind.  Especially if I decide to go all Russian and have 60+ kids.  wink

I was really nervous when it came time to deliver Jocelynn.  I was a “tiny” baby for my mom.  8lbs/8oz.  But then I had siblings that were born 12lbs 13oz, 11lbs 11oz, and 10lbs 9 oz.  I figured I must have been the anomoly...and was wondering if it was a genetics thing.  I returned a lot of 0-3 items I had gotten during the baby shower b/c I worried nothing would fit.  Jocelynn was 8lbs 9oz.  Not too bad at all.  But she lost that 9 ounces in the first week.

Since Jocelynn wasn’t delivered vaginally the first time, the midwife says this labor will probably be similar to a first-time delivery.  Possibly very long and drawn out.

Since Jocelynn wasn’t delivered vaginally the first time. . .

The first time?  She was born more than once?  Did you not like the looks of her when she originally came out, so you had her stuck back in again in hopes of getting an exchange?

“Nah, she’s not done yet. Give her another twenty minutes or so and have a look then. Make sure to use the thermometer to check she’s not still frozen in the middle.”
