I hadn’t read the specifics, but if they haven’t type-matched the contestants that it’s irrelavant who wins.  If you don’t match you can’t receive the organ.  Or rather, you can but will very likely die really quick.

I’m not sure anyone would want my organs.  They were pretty well abused when I was younger.  I can only hope they have begun some sort of self-healing process.  Kinda like those tires that seal themselves when punctured.

The Donor Show just started on dutch tv tonight (1 june 8.30 pm local time).

And it is a HOAX!.

In the sense that there is a “Donor Show”, but not in the announced format. That was simply an idea to get maxime coverage of the show. The show is a one and half hour show to get people to sign their donor paper.

On the photo in the middle of the Donor Show page you see a little guy. That

I think that the “default” position for organ donation is that everyone’s organs are donated upon their death unless they specifically stated/signed that they don’t want them donated.  Unfortunately the opposite is true.

Anyways, the hoax worked.  I realized a few days ago when I read about it somewhere else that i should really sign up to make sure my organs are donated in case I die.  Of course, I couldn’t actually figure out how or where to sign up for that.
