Hi!
I just finished reading this, what a fascinating book.
Setting aside the incredible depth of research, when he interviews the two murderers, which he does repeatedly and at length, it is quite astonishing (and dismaying) to see the ease at which they rationalized their inhumanity (for lack of a better word).
I got inspired to read this after watching the movie ‘Capote’ which centers about his life during the four years he spent writing the book. The movie is good, too, actually great.
(Aren’t DVD’s fabulous? They enable us to see all those good movies that would otherwise have been missed. Movies like ‘Gay Girls In Bondage’ and ‘Three For The Merry Widow’ etc.)
Dan, kind of pushing the limits here, but he is just kidding. Yeah, right. Sure.
