Just as hypocritical as buying a Che Guevara t-shirt at a mall or Al Gore using energy to give speeches and make a movie about conserving energy.

Exactly.  So not someone who has any business telling us how we’re living our lives wrong.  And I’ll reiterate, living self-sufficiently isn’t easy or fun.  I’d much rather have the world I have now than go back to having to provide everything for myself.  Specializing and sharing our work is how we grew beyond naked people wandering the savannahs.  If that makes me less free then I’m all for it.

No kidding…

Its too bad he’s the leading name in conservation…

No, I don’t.  I think governments tend to get heavy handed and need constant monitoring, but I also think the alternative to having a government and a capitalistic society is far worse.  I’m not one of those people that thinks the past was a paradise that we’ve moved away from.

Defending a passport with restricted rights while proclaiming to be free is ehm… shoe wringing…

Damn, even a Russian could travel to Cuba with his restrisctions.
