The former Baywatch star released a statement on Thursday which read, in part, quoted by Reuters, “Despite that I have been going through a painful divorce and I have recently been separated from my children due to my work, I have been successfully dealing with my issue. Unfortunately, one evening I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse.”

David Hasselhoff admitted that his two daughters from his marriage to Pamela Bach were concerned about his drinking and made the tape one night to show him what he’s like when he’s drunk. He said in the statement, “I have seen the tape. I have learned from it and I am back on my game.”

The statement from David Hasselhoff continued, “The tape was never meant to become public, but got into the hands of individuals who are not worthy of mentioning, who maliciously released the tape for their own self purpose. I hope that someone else will learn from the tape, as I have.”

Yep.  It’s was hard to understand most of what he was saying (duh), but did he say “F**K you” to his daughter?  I’m pretty sure I caught that.

I didn’t hear that…He seemed to mumble something at the beginning & said something else at the end, but neither seemed like enough sound to make up “f*ck you”...
