I just got back from watching the new Harry Potter, I liked it. I also reserved my copy of the new book today too, so now I have to read the sixth book before Friday. Our bookshop is having a whole evening of things going on on Friday night instore - they’ve got magicians, musicians and these guys who had a show at last year’s festival which was the books condensed down to a few minutes, which should be fun. They’ll start selling the book at 12.01 a.m. Saturday morning.

When I worked in WH Smith my supervisor insisted we all dressed up the day the movie (the last one) was released.

Luckily I was not set to work that day. If I was I’d have pulled a sicky. Takes a reeeeeaaaal special occasion to make me take a train and walk through Glasgow in robes.

Yeah, come Friday, I’m not intending to dress up. I can’t speak for Mouse.

I don’t think I’m actually going to dress up, but I am slightly tempted to wear my floor-length black velvet cloak. wink
