Yeah, I remember blood saying once that Steph was the only member that was at all bothered about her being on the forum due to her age etc. And the same was true to me to some extent I guess.
Well, kids don’t need to be in a forum chatting to adults…..I wouldn’t want my own daughter doing that!
Maybe, but adults dont need to be in a forum either.
Besides, surely there’s worse things you can think of than your daughter sitting chatting to these guys harmlessly? I know when I was around blood’s age my parents would much rather me be talking online than going out dealing drugs et cetera.
I’ve belonged to many forums on a wide variety of topics: aquariums, gardening, gaming, knitting, books to name a few. All of them have some young members. The gaming forums have tons of kids, and they were probably the least “G-rated” of all of them….because of the kids. It was never an issue and it really shouldn’t be unless you are truly operating a porn board or something.
And by young, I mean like nine or ten years old, not 17.
If I wasn’t a Mod myself, I’d most likely write something nasty about now, but I feel the weight of responsibility on my shoulders and will decline.

Oh and Stephen, those of us who went trekking to Scotland didn’t just get made Mods, we’re also Deputy Curators.
