So very true, Mort…It’s beginning to get mad here since we’re heading for the AFL Grand Final this weekend, and our local team is in the final (after 13 years!)  And I despise AFL, yet still find myself getting caught up in the footy fever.

*feels very disgusted with self and goes to disenfect herself*

(I so much prefer proper football with a round ball! wink )

God Smerk, I hate AFL with a passion. I was so glad when the Eagles lost the game because it will annoy all the people who have been annoying me in the week leading up to the final.

You too, huh?  We had one lady go round the office on Friday demanding to know who we were barracking for. 

I went and shut myself in my room and listened to CDs all afternoon so I wouldn’t have to hear about it!

football’s okay (real football), I understand the rules (which is amazing, compared with every other game people try to teach me) and I’ll sit through a game if it’s on. I wouldn’t fake an emergency though…
