Whoa!  Cool site Kewster!  I especially like the Floyd, Weird Al and ELO ones where they really did put in a secret message, probably just to make fun of all the other practically indistinguishable ones.

Now, in the past once, I found a video of a guy in London who could sing stairway to heaven backwards.  Then, you could flip the video backwards and it looked and sounded just like he was singing it forwards, but the people in the background all walk backwards.  It was pretty cool, wish I could find it though.

The Cramps put bits of reversed audio into various tracks (Daisies Up Your Butterfly for example). Nothing mind-blowing mind you, then again most of their stuff is pretty satanic played forward!

Strange, my post didn’t appear after submit. Let me take another stab at it.

It wasn’t hard to find (online) the guy who took 3 months to learn “Stairway to Heaven” backwards. However, I think the video of him singing the whole thing backwards can no longer be found online - he might have tracked down every single blogger who’d posted it and asked them to take it down. Naturally, it’s not on YouTube either. There’s a 30sec clip on his own website here. I watched it, recorded it using Audacity, reversed the waveform, listened to that... and didn’t understand a word.

If anyone tries it, let me know what happens.

I particularly liked the Break On Through clip.  Except that Jim Morrison sound like he’s saying “I am so sure” rather than “I am Satan.”  But meh.

(Actually, I liked the Weird Al one best since he’s my favorite.  And I always wondered what he said in Nature Trail To Hell.  I knew it was backward but never bothered to figure out what he put in there.)

Apparently, playing one of Jay Z’s songs backwards reveals a satanic message!
