A lot of chatter on this one but how could it not be in the papers. Must be a hoax or fodder for conspiracy theorists. Accoring to post, which links to Michelle Malkin who reported calling American West who would only say it was an “irregularity.“ Could a missile be an irregularity?

I say hoax (or rumor more likely) but why wouldn’t a major airline just say “no”?

Maybe they don’t know what it is yet…so saying “yes” or “no” prematurely could be wrong.  They’d be hassled more if they gave a yes/no answer, and it turned out to be the opposite.  It would look like a cover-up.  I didn’t really look at all the blog stuff or anything…

I hope whoever confused the bird with a missile (and please please not have been the pilot) should be restricted from operating heavy machinery.
