Here’s an interesting project. This person visited the Giza pyramids in Egypt and began to walk around them, taking a picture every ten steps. After 3 hours of walking, a total of 690 photos had been taken. The pictures were compressed into a short movie, almost like a flip book. The result is impressive. If you’ve never seen the pyramids in person, here’s your chance!

Does he actually go around all three of the big pyramids?  Or does he just go around one, and you can see the others in the background?

Let’s see. . .(690 x 10 x 3) / 5280 = about four miles or six and a half kilometers.  That could be enough to go around all three of the complexes.

He circled the Giza Plateau and tried to center each shot on Khafre, the center pyramid.  (Annotations at the bottom of the video as it plays.)
