Right, as part of my early year 9 work (aged 14) I had to make some quotes up that could hypothetically be part of a story, I posted these two on the we-rank website, and just wondered what you all thought of them:

‘I would give have given everything and anything to make people half as happy as I was then sad. People everywhere, doing ordinary things, going on with their ordinary lives, unknowingly extraordinarily happier than I was at that point. Who knew how one random point in someone’s ordinary life could make it that extraordinary? I then learnt to be grateful for every happy feeling, each burst of sunlight on a stormy day, and each smile someone gave me, as you would never know where you would be standing in a couple more days. Care for what you have, be grateful of how lucky you are, and help those who aren’t so.’

‘Everything changed, suddenly the sun was no longer dark in me eyes, I brightened, I saw in colour again! My eyes were widened in disbelief, as I gazed at birds flying overhead, something I had never seen before, or, at least never seen like this, startlingly white wings beating across the deep sea coloured blue sky. Before me, the sky was turning pink as sunset approached. How could I have never noticed these things before? I ran out to the sea shore and danced in the waves, not caring for the first time about people staring. Why had I ever been bothered? I laughed when others laughed, wept when others cried. Hysterically, unashamedly, living for the moment as never before. I actually listened! Me! Listening to others! Astounding!’

So, feel free to scrutinise!

Also, has anyone e=out there got some undiscovered (or discovered) artwork of somekind (that could be writing/drawing/photography) that you would like to share with the world? (or the forum…)

(And I know there’s no such word as artistical)

Boo - “Like a mad bloody magpie.“

“A rolling zombie gathers no moss, as it tends to disintegrate instead.“

“He who hesitates is sporked.“

“A penny saved is a future donation to Boo’s army of zombies in an attempt to bribe her not to let them rend your limbs.“
Aphorisms by Acci.

“This site fuses the skeptical approach of a hard-core myth debunker with a gleeful celebration of humanity’s trickster side.“ Sci-Fi Weekly, talking about MoH.

Boo, I love your first two drawings! Where do you get your inspiration from?

Thanks, LaMa.

Thunder, I don’t really know where I get my inspiration from. I just start drawing, and then things are there.
If that makes any sense.
I must scan the duck-woman one. That’s even stranger.
wink

*Wonders if it may have been inspired by Terry Pratchett’s Duck Man…*
