Been volunteering for an NGO who does feeding programmes for malnourished kids in the Philippines. One of the tasks that I’ve been given is to encode the names of children and their height and weight. Some names that I encountered: Rockstar and Rockstone (they’re brothers), Cherry Baby, Babygirl, King, and Macgyver.

Yesterday I read a magazine article about a woman who had the heaviest wedding dress ever (it was all faux-jewel encrusted and tacky as hell), who has named her firstborn Chardonnay-Precious. sick

Who ever said that tackiness and lack of taste ever had to be confined to one area of a person’s lifestyle?

Ami Appel - Manager of our local fruit delivery service.  I’m guessing she didn’t spell spell her name correctly on that letter she included with the last delivery. wink
