Has anyone noticed that all the new members these days seem to have nospacenumber123 names?

ex: SazaJ,  StevenKump,  tundemustsurvivefamily,  katcrazy6,  boffa81,  gharit,  BluEyeDevil,  SeaWasp

have the rules changed for screen names, or are people just strange? I wonder…

are they even real? every time i go on theres a list of new people, but they never post anything.

I know that when I first had to find a screen name when I was about 14 ...and it was advised that a word be coupled with #s, so that it would be unique.  So I was Rooskie417.  After a while though, I realized my own first name was unique enough, and just used my own name.  Also, if your nicknames and words were unique enough, numbers weren’t needed.  I also go by SilverXeno.  I’ve never had to put numbers after that to make it unique at another site.

I think it’s just one of those things that you learn about.

i use numbers on my email, but thats only my birthdate. I use different names for different forums. my very first email account was littleangel589.

Ick, I’d hate to have an sn with numbers.  If a name is taken, I don’t want a copy of it.  I wonder if there are any Citizen_Premier1980’s out there… I doubt it.

Wow. I just discovered that while looking up my SN on yahoo.  I wonder if my dad had one of those in his office years ago and that’s where the name came from… intrigue!

Just for info, you can change your screen name.  It’s in your preferences.  It can be different from your member, or login name.

Which is why you’re now “...the Mighty”...no tall poppies here, I see!

im not that origional though… i wouldnt wany .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or something like most of my friends, so i thought of thunderstruck, but it was taken. I’m sure if you look hard enough you’d find a copy of your username somewhere.

My cousins make up their own names such as jakari, nephri and shiana, but i’m not that inventive. thunderstruck shall have to do

It sure doesn’t seem like it—I’ve done google searches for “citizen premier,” “citizenpremier” and “citizen_premier” and they haven’t found anybody but me.  You don’t have to have numbers in your screen name to have it be original!
