I can tolerate tattoos, and even find some interesting, but mostly I consider them a mark against.  I like unmarked skin too much, but it depends on the girl and the tattoos, of course.  It’s getting very hard to find a girl who doesn’t have at least one tattoo.

I have five tattoos, Matt has none.
I have no particular preference as to other people having them or not.

I designed my own tattoo, which I was to have done to celebrate turning 30.

In the end the wife talked me out of it. I think her exact argument was “That’s just the f***ing sad, stupid, mid-life-crisis sort of idea a middle-aged man would have!”

Yeah, that’s pretty much why I couldn’t get a tattoo or piercing now (assuming I could be talked into one in the first place).  I’m too old to do it gracefully, or without embarassment. raspberry

I have a tattoo on each upper arm, and four small ones on the back of my right shoulder. I’m saving the back of my left shoulder for a bigger tattoo, probably a dragon. I might get a tattoo at the base of my back, but I haven’t decided yet.

30 is midlife????  oh a middle-aged man’s idea?

On the other hand and I’m serious about this, tattoos on guys look very un-sexy and that’s a better reason David.
