i dont think i’d want to be the oldest living person… you probably couldnt do anything for yourself - not even hardly walk. You wouldnt be able to have a party (You’d probably have a heart attack and keel over). meh, i want to die peacefully and old and all that, but at about 80 where i will hopefully still be prettty much self dependant and not at the mercy of others. I have a happy outlook on life smile

That’s what I figured, until I heard that it was a skydiving accident. Or was skydiving while on a cycle?

Yeah, by the time you’re 40, you’ll probably need someone to wipe your butt for you.  rolleyes

Thunder, 100 doesn’t seem so old when you’re 98.  I’ve seen lots of people enjoying birthday parties and fun even after 100.

Now I understand the phrase “youth is wasted on the young”.

I don’t think I’d want to live forever.  A few million years would do for me.

A few years ago, I believe she was about 110 then, Mrs Van Andel was taken for a helicopter ride by a TV show. She had never flown before. She liked it but told the showmaster she would have preferred a fighter jet…!
