My friend and I were really hard on our phones.  She ran hers over, replaced it for like a $15 ded…and then mine just sort of wore out, and I replaced it for a $30 ded.  It’s usually added onto your contract for like $5 a month or something.  I had a $200, so I made out cheaper using the insurance.

So I guess I shouldn’t try to call you.

Wow, I guess I should count myself a little lucky then. The worst I’ve ever done is drop mine (knock on wood that it doesnt happen now). I just switched phones, but I was using that one for a couple or three years. Erik’s got it and is using it now.

I got the leather case for mine to cushion the landing.  I dropped it a lot.  Dunno what it was about it - I loved it though.  It was really cute.  Only, the style was retired or whatever you call it shortly after I bought it…so I couldn’t buy anymore fun stuff for it.

That’s too bad. I managed to get a cover for mine when it was new, but it went out of the accessories market quickly - it’s a nokia 3500-something I think. Once the cover broke I went back to the original.

My new one is certainly *not* state of the art, but I have a colour screen now.

I’m looking for a new cell phone.  But Idon’t want bells and whistles and polyphonic ring tones.  After all, I can only use one ring tone at a time.  I don’t need 30 stored on my phone.

We’ll probably go with Nextel, sometime before the end of the year.  Jason gets a corporate discount.
