yeah i loved that class. i wrote a whole script on the rise and fall of punk. it was incredible.

  sorry Winona..and i am actually kind of jealous of myself right now….the music scene here in Rhode Island is nothing to be proud of.

Stooges/Velvet Underground/Pistols were all pretty much gone by the time I was in Jr. High so never saw them live…..saw No Doubt in 89 and i was blown away….great live band, played a ska/punk mix that was quite exciting…of course they were nothing like the pop incarnation they are now.

5 more posts and I get to find out if anything happens at 1500 posts - I totally suck.

yeah Maegan, was gonna say it could be worse…like being 20 ft below sea level and threatened with a 25 to 30 ft storm surge…as well as the 150 MPH winds you mentioned.

just heard some large chunks of the Superdome roof have been blown off….

Wow, and that place is packed to the hilt.  I’m just glad they’re not doing 24 hr coverage on the local channels this time.  SERIOUSLY, could I BE less interested?
