I buy furniture from IKEA. But the instructions are so hard. It’s like I almost need a degree to assemble IKEA furniture.

I’ve never even seen an IKEA, much less shopped at one (though I did take a peek at an online catalog once), but I keep hearing basically what you’re saying, Peter.

I must be very weird, as I don’t find IKEA furniture difficult to put together.  I even enjoy it!

I’ve had the same experience Smerk.  We shop IKEA all the time and the directions are typically VERY simple often needing no wording, just pictures.

Or the un-ikea custom:

which may be what Peter comes up with?

I’ve never found Ikea stuff hard to put together.  My biggest beef with it is that I have found a lot of it is pretty flimsy.  I have had a few pieces break on me while assembling them.

I go to McDonalds and I can’t decide if I want to upsize my meal. I can get more food for a small amount of money but I don’t know if I can eat that much. It’s like I almost need a degree to buy food from McDonalds.

Do you get the feeling you may have spent too much time in university Peter?

I’m trying to discern where you are coming from with that observation, which I feel is symbolic of a considered inflection into the profile of the collective consciousness of the forums.  It’s like I almost need a degree to understand what you’ve said.

I was wondering if you are finding yourself overqualified for the jobs you’re applying for.

I was asking Siri about toothpaste reviews. Siri just said “this chemist looks close to you”. It’s like I almost need a degree to use Siri on my iPhone.

I’m trying to decide when to pick up my graduation gown, including my tickets. I heard there might be up to 20,000 students graduating from my university on the night. It’s like I almost need a degree to figure out my graduation details.
