Sure looks like a rock. I can see a faint down turned mouth and face in a pareidolia fashion.

This line from the article really nails the ‘pareidolia’ aspect.  I can guarantee if anyone had a real non-fossilized skull they would be showing it off all over the place and trying to rake in a fortune.  There are some people with hefty imaginations out there.
