For all of us that have wondered at the mystical magic that is the Rocky Horror Picture Show, it is celebrating 40 years of rice, water pistols, newspapers toast and confetti.  Who remembers the first time they saw it?  I sure do.

I only saw it for the first time last year.  I got the DVD via Quickflix (Aussie version of Netflix, I believe), and watched it one afternoon using my computer.  I wouldn’t mind getting it out again, and re-watching it a) on my new TV, and b) without getting interrupted by my parents wanting to talk to me.

I still haven’t seen it, but then I’m not one for the whole ‘experience’ of seeing it in a theater and the few times I’ve caught parts of it on television I wasn’t terribly impressed.  My girlfriend loves it though, which is a very odd thing indeed.

I saw it for the first time last year.  My son though, has participated (audience participation) in the show at various venues and loves it.  I had no idea it had been around so long!

I bought this on DVD two or three years ago and I still haven’t watched it. All I’ve ever seen is that Time Warp clip.
