Posting a couple of these here for those who don’t use facebook (and be happy you don’t)

Gosh, looks like we need a reality TV called resume stars. Unfortunately, most reality stars seem to fade very quickly or are put up to public ridicule. Getting ‘attention’ is, of course’ great, but often that’s the top of the game and from there it’s a free-fall downward because the stress of living up to that first impression and staying on top can cause, yes, serious injury in a lot of ways.

The young man who asked for an internship for ‘next to nothing’ is a certified indentureship with hopes or dreams that his student loans will hold off gathering interest until the time he can actually start paying them back.

I’m way too old to be hired anywhere and right now, I’m actually thankful for that.

This illustrates the need for super-computer Automatons, not human beings (unless the human can prove and illustrate a minimum 200 IQ with over-the-hill common sense, amazing stamina, along with charismatic draw and the eloquence of absolutely NO opinion of their own, only that of the particular employer at any given moment).

With a bit of luck I will never need to write another resume unless I need one to get into a retirement home when I’m 90.
