I don’t know if I need to meet more people or something. I said this joke to my friend last night and neither he nor his girlfriend got it.

“I have this religious question for you. Is it possible to be a Non Practicing Atheist?”

Just went straight over their heads. My friend, being a Christian, just went off on a tangent.

If you said it the way you have it phrased at the top your friends probably took it as a serious question. Which was probably why they didn’t get it as a joke. I wouldn’t worry about it though Peter. As long as your sense of humor keeps you laughing it’s ok.
