Today I had quite a flashback—anyone remember those squeeze-it drinks?  Those were from back in the day when advertisements really made me want things.  I’m ashamed of it.

What I remember that nobody ever mentions, and I’d have just died if That 70’s Show had shown one, were those “Up Yours Iran” Mickey Mouse t-shirts the were being sold all over the place, until Disney stepped in and quashed it.

I remember my brother having a Khomeni poster with a target on it. (In Canada!) Many joyful hours shooting spitballs.

The other day I was at a re-enactment town and they were selling a lot of the candies we used to see when we were really young kids. I had to buy a little plastic pineapple with the sugar inside, but I (regretfully) resisted the candy cigarettes.

Ooh, I remember the pineapples, and oranges, and whatever else.  Those were yummy. 

I still miss the little Lik-n-stix or whatever they were called.

We’ve still got those!  Although I haven’t had one myself in many a year…

On holiday in France, there was a French restaurant manager whose only English was to say “Don’t worry be happy” (43)

I can rap the fresh prince (3), always say i know you are but what am I? (Annoys other people ALOT! - 35) and can sing all of shot through the heart (55), although thats cos i love Bon Jovi’s music.

Ah , but who else remembers Shields and Yarnell?

I still have an orange rolling around in my purse Chary. The pineapple was enough for me.

i’ve been doin #3 since i was 13 and im 15 now! lol

Well, I was about 7 when the 80s ended - but the only ones I DIDN’T know about:
51 & 57

7 - Didn’t watch a lot of T.V.  I know who Joey is (although, his younger brother is the one that I crushed on when I was younger), and Blossom seemed really lame.
27 - Saw the movie, never traded cards.
60 - I had a shag, not a mullet.
65 - Never watched that show - have not even seen the reruns.

I can say I understand every other single thing on this list!!
