This guy claims he was on hold with Qantas (an Australian airline) on his mobile phone for 15 hours. I have to ask what the real story is. Is it, as the man claimed, that Qantas has such poor customer that they kept him on hold for so long? Or is it that this is a man who is deranged enough to not hang up after the first half hour and incur such a huge bill on his mobile phone?
Qantas stated they have no record of anybody being on hold for that long.
MAN ON HOLD WITH QANTAS FOR 15 HOURS
An Adelaide businessman says he was put on hold for 15 hours by Qantas as he tried to confirm his flight.
Andrew Kahn waited on hold on his mobile phone for 15 hours, 40 minutes and one second as he tried to get through to Qantas, Fairfax reports.
Mr Kahn called Qantas at 7.22pm on Wednesday trying to confirm his travel arrangements for a trip to New York on Sunday but gave up at 11.01am on Thursday after his call was not answered.
“I hung up in the end simply because I had had enough,” Mr Kahn told Fairfax.
