The leaves of the tree seem to be obscuring most of the students; who took the photo, the sloth?

I have some suspicion this could be a photoshop. There appears to be something wrong with the depth of field: the leaves are too sharp compared to the sloth, given the similar sharpness of the background (the persons) behind that.
