Well, that’s partly why they have them on barges in the middle of the river.

Also, that was a controlled oops. It was caused by a computer malfunction, but every one of the launchers dutifully perfomed exactly as it was supposed to. They just happened to perfectly function all at the same time.

But yes.. firework explosions are… scary. Very. There’s a couple videos out there that emphasize that rather well.

Ever heard of “Enschede” in The Netherlands were a fireworks factory blew up?
Look it up.

Yeah, seen that’n.. I’ve also seen video of a fireworks factory going up from a camera way up in the mountains.. you can see the shockwave.
