I love the way the reporter talks about ghost hunters, with their “equipment”, in a serious manner.

I’ve been in that hall regularly - our tai chi classes used to be held there on a Sunday morning before they shut it down for the renovations.  I’ve wandered round behind the main stage a few times, as well as the upper gallery and a couple of the side rooms.  Never had anything spooky or untoward happen to me there.  And that area they were showing in the film where they were saying there was a man in one spot and a woman in another is actually part of the refurbished ground floor.

Ah but we know from Pratchett’s discworld that all that is required is one tiny pebble or piece from the original foundation to permit a spirit/ghost to travel beyond the usual boundaries!
