Waver,

Didn’t we just do the very same thing with the scam LifeWave patches?

Every time a point about the patches was raised you gave a link to a flashy website presentation. But, what does the flash actually prove about anything?

The whole point about any of these “miracle” products is to look beyond the hype, isn’t it?

Do you always believe what you are told without question, unless it questions what you believe?

This time, have you done your thorough due diligence?

Keep it comin’

While we ‘re giving out links here’s one, courtesy of CMG.

“CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT
On some models, there will be a change in the performance/idle (pinging, roughness etc.) after the Stabilization Period. This is an indication the Fuel Energizer is working and that the carburetor will require a simple fuel/air mixture adjustment for a lifetime of savings.”

From one of the many websites out there.

So, I wonder how they intend to cope with the computer/oxygen sensor feedback system automatically adjusting fuel/air mixture on all modern cars already?

EDH UK,

As you pointed out, Shane Maguire, the current President and co-founder of 4-E Corporation, was the CEO of quickly-defunct MML company America’s Cash Back Network (ABCN).

But that’s not all:  “Dan Atkinson, is a co-founder and Executive Vice President of 4-E Corporation.” Sounds like the same Dan Atkinson who occupied a “leadership role” in ABCN, per the links you provided.

So it looks like between Shane Maguire and Dan Atkinson, the two of them flew ABCN into the ground in about one year’s time, leaving in their wake angry people calling ABCN a scam.  Now within a little more than a year from the time that they partnered together at ABCN, the two of them have partnered again to co-found 4-E Corporation to sell the Ethos concoction.  Well, at least 4-E has a management team with a proven track record.  How could you place anything but full faith and credit in that dynamic duo?

I noticed also that Ethos claims that its concoction is “non-toxic.” I will look forward to Mr. Maguire and Mr. Atkinson, with maybe Waver joining the party, publicly drinking a shot glass full of the stuff in order to demonstrate the truth of that claim.  Bottom’s up!

I really liked the part about pinging/roughness being a sign that the product is “working.” With that definition of “working,” I have no trouble believing that the product “works.”

On one of the videos on the Ethos website (one of the TV station ones) someone actually drinks out of an Ethos bottle to show it is non toxic.

Ethos websites.

You may have seen some Ethos websites using oil company logos in a way to imply that the companies endorse the product.

Here is BP’s reply to a question I asked them about such use of their logo.

“Thank you for your recent email to BP Alternative Energy.

BP does not endorse the products represented on this site and your email
has been forwarded to our trade marks colleagues for their action.

Many thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Regards,

BP Alternative Energy”

Let’s be quite clear about this; putting sugar in your gas tank will ruin your engine!

It’s sugar alcohol that is the alternative fuel to gasoline, so you have to remember to add yeast as well!

Even though sugar will ruin you engine, it will make a tank of gas last a long time because your engine will not be burning it.

I’ll be darned.  Maybe the Ethos concoction is truly non-toxic.  According to the patent (4,920,691), a primary ingredient is carboxylic acid ester which, in small quantities, is a food additive if I’m reading this correctly.  http://www.intox.org/databank/documents/chemical/chem796/cie796.htm.  The other main ingredient, neopentylpolyol esther, seems to be a synthetic lubricant.  http://www.sgms.ch/meeting/2001/kohler.html.  I’m not a chemist, so this is outside my field of expertise.  Hey Bartender, a shot of Ethos Fuel Reformulator for my friend, Waver!

Waver

I presume your news about Bioperformance is supposed to imply that your magic potion is even more brilliant?
