Citizen Premier, I didn’t have anything to contribute, I just wanted to be first.

I just watched one of the news videos linked to by Waver. (With a finger in every pot, he ought to be rich pretty soon…)  Whenever I see a commercial diguised as a news story, it makes me want to scream!  It would be nice to see a follow up by the newscaster who said if the product worked in his car, he was sure the product would really “take off”.  I’m not sure why working in his car would be setting the gold standard though.

When Dave created this forum, I was actually watching MythBusters on tv and they were performing tests on all these gadgets, including acetone and used oil on a diesel. None of the gadgets worked and the used oil worked pretty good. I don’t know the long-term effects of using the oil, but it seemed like the other gadgets were discounted pretty easily. I know those guys are not top-end research, but it does raise many questions about the validity of those enhancements simply by performing simple controlled tests.

Re-used oil only works in old diesels. Don

Waver

“Now let the games begin.”

Product called “ETHOS” sounds a little like ethical. I seem to remember LifeWave patches were an “ethical” business opportunity.

Looks like you’ve hit the motherload Waver, after your shaky start in the MLM business with the LifeWave scam.

Good luck to you as the millions would appear to be on their way.

Regarding the vehicle running on vegetable cooking oil, it’s called BioDiesel. Any diesel vehilce can either run straight off it, or with some minor tinkerings. I find it comforting to know that if we get rid of every single drop of crude oil on the planet, there’s still a reasonably economical solution that will keep delivery trucks running.

I should note that the price of gasoline is now higher than the price of vegetable oil..

I SMELL A SCAM.

Several Ethos distributors have the following on their website:

CEO Ethos Environmental: Enrique De Vilmorin
Enrique De Vilmorin, PhD Harvard University, Nobel prize nominee for 15 patents regarding clean air and environment . . .
Ethos is greek for Ethics… Enrique De Vilmorin is all about ethical products, ethics in everything he does or touches.

E.g., http://www.credibilitysells.com/company.htm  .

This gives Ethos a severe credibility problem.  Nobody named Enrique De Vilmorin is named as an inventor of any issued U.S. patents (since 1976), or is even named as an inventor in any pending published U.S. patent applications.  Search for yourself at http://patft1.uspto.gov/netahtml/PTO/search-adv.htm  Furt.hermore, the only English language websites I could find that mentioned this person were related to Ethos.

Now if somebody has a PhD from Harvard and was nominated for a Nobel prize (which by itself means nothing because anybody can nominate anybody), you’d think you’d at least find a mention or two of him somewhere on the Internet with reference to some real accomplishment in his life other than his recent work at one company in a field plagued by scammers.  My initial read therefore is that you can’t believe anything that Ethos or its distributors say.  Does Waver or anybody else want to identify the 15 patents that Mr. De Vilmorin supposedly has obtained, and prove me wrong on at least that point?

Joel

This is a link to the 4E website:

http://www.4-ecorp.com/about.php

“Shane Maguire is the President and a co-founder of 4-E Corporation.

Before assuming his current role at 4-E, Mr. Maguire had many successes over the past 10 years in several business ventures.”

I wonder why it doesn’t mention that Shane Maguire was CEO of FUELZONE?

http://www.npros.com/dir/fuelzone/

WOW! This opportunity in 2005 with Mr Maguire at the helm looks wonderful. Did it go anywhere?

http://www.moneymakergroup.com/index.php?showtopic=6669&pid=140052&mode=threaded&show=&st=&

OH DEAR!  This link seems to be using that nasty little word SCAM. Hope it’s nothing remotely linked to Mr Maguire.

Well, it’s a start.

I guess it gives us sorry people with nothing better to do than research hard working people trying to help folks like Waver…a reason to live!

Enjoy!

Couldn’t resist

http://www.4eteamwealth.com/ezwealth/ethosfrproductinfo.html

EZWEALTH   All that hard work ethic is very overrated!

“This innovative product has over been used successfully mainly in the commercial market for the past ten years, it has literally hundreds of miles of road tests…”

WOW…HUNDREDS of miles.

Count me in.

I guess there’s always a problem when people do their own websites.

OK one last jab

http://www.4eteamwealth.com/ezwealth/ethosfrproductinfo.html

“reduces heat caused friction”

Rewriting the laws of physics I see.

Well, at least this website owner will now have the opportunity to get someone else to proof read for them.
