I have to go and buy Easter eggs for the family this afternoon - I hope there’s still some left in the shop or they’ll be getting Easter baked beans instead…

Seriously, I didn’t realize this was Easter weekend since I don’t celebrate it.  A few weeks ago though I saw the really big Reeses Eggs you use a carving knife to slice into sides suitable for eating and Erik bought me a couple.  I also saw fabric baskets at Wegmans and assumed they must be on sale because Easter was over….......................................  How out of it am I?

They are huge and you can’t really eat them like a regular peanut butter egg so you have to slice them.

As far as ‘groovy’ in a 60s way:  I AM in a 60s way (almost halfway through them next month), but I was never ‘groovy’ during the 60s years since I didn’t live here then and hardly understood the term.

Easter has changed a lot since I was a child.

Was just at the local supermarket picking up some non-Easter related things & saw their Easter candy display…

Looks like nothing says Easter now like a big chocolate T Rex, or a chocolate Spider-man.
