Hmm, I still have the visitor stats, but I just had to log back in again.

Yeah, I lost the stats too… Notably, clicking on the MoH Forum logo restored them.

Methinks the latest incarnation has a few bugs with the cookies.

Hmm…okay, a quick bit of experimenting shows that the visitor stats are visible when I’m using my bookmark for the forum, or when I’m using the link from the main page.  It’s just when I’ve been looking at/commenting on a thread and then clicked the “Forum Home” link that the stats seem to disappear. 

Mind you, I see in the URL that the link has a lot of extra characters, rather than being just the straight museumofhoaxes.com/hoax/forums link.  Tracking purposes, maybe?

It sounds like a variable in the url used for passing form information. It’s a standard way of passing information from one web page to another. However it’s often better not to use the url for that because of security reasons (e.g. user names and passwords).

I’d say one or two bugs have appeared in the updated software. I’m sure there will be a fix for it soon.

And perhaps a few new bugs with the fixes, too, just to keep the Mods here on their toes! 

Looks like the bug or whatever that was causing me to be logged out every few hours has been fixed.  At least, I haven’t had to log back in again since some time yesterday.

Slightly longer than that for me…

I still have to log in each time regardless of which device I check from.

I haven’t had a problem with it today.

I actually didn’t have to log in when I came just now. First visit since that post. Both times from my Desktop. Haven’t checked in on my iPad in a couple days.
