It’s such a cheery thing to open up one’s copy of Pratchett’s Guards!  Guards! and to see the pictures of Smerk that the publisher saw fit to print within!

Ugh.  Our internet’s been having problems staying connected for the last day or so.  It’ll be fine for about five minutes, then drop out and not be able to reconnect. 
Dave thought it might be because of line work or construction down the street, but that all seems to be done.  So he’s on the phone trying the company’s troubleshooter process.  Unfortunately, you have to go through the automated system first before you can talk to a real person.  *sigh*

That MIGHT be your modem, Crafty. Sometimes, the relays in them wear out, and they start forgetting they’re connected. If you’ve got it from your ISP, you can say ‘Hey, can I get a new one? This one seems to be borked’.

Crafty: Hooray!

We have an electrical inspection on Monday, which means we have to do a deep clean of the kitchen. Which means we don’t get to go and play D&D tomorrow.

You should be asking the question, where did he get that picture from?
What relationship does this guy have with your fiancee? (is is one e or two for a girlie? I always mix them up)

Perhaps you could have a session where your characters have to clean a dungeon, and all of the players get to clean your kitchen in the process to be in character?
