Your POV?

I suppose I should find that an intriguing question. But I don’t.

By the way, I don’t have a Pouf Orange Valet.

If writing about it academically I would capitalize it.  “The Internet was invented by the Italians Marco Internero and Paulo Compeneti in 1658 for exhibition at the Constantinople Worlds Fair.”

If writing casually I would not capitalize it.  “My internet is down, time to find those dusty old magazines and do this old school.” 

It makes no difference if I were using the article ‘the’ to preface it.  Academically Yes, casually No.

As for the “I”/“i” thing I’ll also go with what Chary said.

And I don’t have one.  I guess that I usually use lower case for it, but don’t really think about it one way or the other.

I’ll have to stop answering these internet related questions while I’m racking my brains out developing a web site. I think I’ve lost 5 or 6 hours sleep just trying to get a menu to line up properly in Internet Explorer.

And I’ve finally done it. 

I’M GOING TO START SIMPLIFYING ONLINE GRAMMAR BY WRITING EVERYTHING IN ALL CAPS.  THIS WAY, THIS SORT OF QUESTION WON’T MATTER.
