In any case.. Tomorrow/today should be fun. It’s the annual Whole Earth Festival over on campus. Three days of tie-dyed eco-hippy food, fun and crafts. Not too many burnt-out Deadheads, surprisingly, though you’ll occasionally catch a whiff of patchouli. Still, great times to be had.
I think I may have to go job hunting pretty soon. We had planned to watch Berlyn’s kids (since she gets some gov’t assistance, they’ll pay for day care while she’s going to school, even over the summer) while she and Tree take summer classes at the college, but they’re not sure now if Tree is going to, which means we’re not sure if we’ll be babysitting. We need to find out pretty quickly, though, because being broke is no fun.
