Most here are no longer in school even though there are some who are attending or just finished college.  Personally I’m glad I’m not in school any more even though I do sometimes dream I am .... those typical dreams where you don’t know your class schedule; you don’t know where your locker is or…if you do find it you don’t know the combination; you get to class to discover all the other students are 30 and 40 years younger than you.  The typical nightmare.

I’m not sure what kinds of stories you really want to read.  Are you still in school?  If so, what grade are you in?

Is this for a school assignment or project? I’m 47 and I’m a student at university now.

I’ll try to remember anything from my younger days.

drwhorules, you’re partly ‘texting’ here because some of your wording is odd….  im instead of I’m and what does jw mean?  Are you on a small device and using your thumbs to type? 

I am gathering you’re a junior in high school so you are roughly 16 or 17 years years old?  Where are you from:  (from what country/State etc.) and are you male or female? 

I attended well over a dozen schools around the globe.  Perhaps they might have (or would) be stories some would find interesting, but for me they were hell and not years I would want to revisit.

I’m guessing but here goes:

“im” = inter music. As in “I’m inter music. What’re you inter?”
“jw” = jolly wobblies!!! As in an exclamation.

So it translates as:

Assuming of course that they haven’t thrown themselves off a cliff upon reading what some people evidently consider proper communication.

I don’t think I’m asking too much that someone of your grade level be able to demonstrate passing familiarity with capital letters, punctuation, and proper sentence structure.

Using shorthand isn’t a crime. It just means we won’t understand you. So using shorthand is pointless really.
