He achieved notoriety in Germany for his eccentric appearance, notably his wig, which he fashioned himself from electric tape. If anyone asked him about his “hair”, he would answer “It’s Jack’s creation!”.
No. for the pictorially challenged, it shows an image of a barber standing behind a seated guardsman (Think Buckingham Palace, the ones with the big furry black hats.) The barber has shaved of the back of the head/hat to reveal that the hat isn’t hollow and really tall, but rather the skull is actually extremely tall and covered with that black furry-ish hair. (It’s actually been ‘shopped’ fairly well.)
It’s due to the brackets in the link. The forum breaks the link when brackets are involved by ignoring them completely. There’s only one way round it that I know of - use tinyurl or equivalent. Or, I suppose if you click on the link you can then go and edit the brackets back in on the address bar…
Another forum I visit has the same problem, but they have an alternate solution of substituting ( for ( and ) for ). I’ve just had a quick play with that here, and it doesn’t seem to make any difference.
*grumble* looks like it’s stripping out the code when I post, replacing them with their ‘proper’ characters.. hang on… you wanna be that way, I’ll use your encoding against you, see how you like it…
Yeah, that’s what I tried, and it made no difference. Heh, and I see it actually changed where I used the % 28 % 29 to brackets in my post above, too.
Yep. That’s because ultimately your post is still being squeezed through a very long URL, with those control characters being passed through the same filter as any URL. Kinda annoying, but it prevents your browser from being fed URLs that kill it or let someone read your hard drive.
